Softball: Tigers play first home games of 2023

On Friday, April 14, the Lake City High School Tiger softball team played host to Pine Island in the first home game of the season.

The Tigers started strong with Kylie Mann sending one over the fence for a three run home run in the first. Mann went 2 for 3 at the plate.

Senior Resa Laqua was in the circle for the Tigers. She went three innings, allowing seven runs on seven hits and striking out three. Allison Dykes threw four innings in relief giving up seven hits and striking out one. Lake City fell to Pine Island 11-5.
