Music inside and out at the Care Center, Elysian
The healing and restorative power of music has been acknowledged for centuries and the Lake City Community Choir demonstrated this at their performance at Elysian Senior Homes of Lake City senior community on Thursday, June 22. Residents enjoyed a mix of uplifting choral music along with a lively selection from Music Man before Rocking Around the Clock with tapping toes, clapping hands and noticeably elevated levels of good humor. Bill Haley and the Comets would be pleased!
