Sailing for Leukemia and studio tour this weekend
Sailing and art are the focus of two big events happening Saturday and Sunday, July 29 and 30.
The Lake City Yacht Club is holding its annual Sailing for Leukemia fundraiser, and the Red Wing Area Studio Tour has three stops in Lake City.
Each year the yacht club’s Sailing for Leukemia event offers sailing excursions lasting about 90 minutes in exchange for donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Excursions are open to the public. They depart from and return to the Lake City Marina.
