Corrected: Library program on NASA’s impact is Sept. 19
The Lake City Public Library invites the public to a NASA-themed discussion on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at 6:30 p.m., led by local resident Dennis Robertson, M.D.
“As a result of NASA being one of the biggest and most successful players in both the space-science and earth-science arenas, thousands of well-paying jobs and numerous spinoffs have evolved from the research NASA has conducted,” according to a news release. “In this talk, Dr. Robertson will provide answers to the question, ‘What is NASA doing for me?’”
