College bowler Samantha Smith finishes second at McKendree Match Games

Samantha Smith, a former Lake City High School bowler who is now a junior at Lindenwood College in Missouri, finished second in a field of about 130 at the McKendree Match Play games in Illinois on Nov. 18 and 19.
Smith’s second place finish earned her a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Only the top five bowlers earn this honor.
She had 1,030 total pinfall after her five games and averaged 206 for the day. The field average was 166 for the day.
