Boys basketball: Tigers come up short in back-and-forth game with section rival

In a game that featured nine lead changes and eight ties, it was a decisive 11-3 run by Cannon Falls over the final four minutes that lifted the Bombers past Lake City 69-61 Friday night in an intense battle between the top two teams in section 1AA.

The first five minutes saw the lead change hands four times as Jaden Shones scored six early points for the Tigers. A three-pointer by Keegan Ryan gave the Tigers a 10-7 lead with 13:19 to play in the first half.
