Marshall pioneered winter hardy grapes, poured energy into Market by the Lake

I’ve known John Marshall since 1996. We were both vendors at the Rochester Farmers Market back then. His expertly grown grapes were ready in the early fall, everyone including me was a big fan of his heritage variety, the winter hardy Minnesota native Bluebell grapes, the jam and jelly, and the incredible grape juice he brought to market.
