Rotary Club hears about Governor’s Fishing Opener
On Feb. 5, Elizabeth Greenawalt introduced Nicole Lalum of Explore Minnesota, who let the Rotary group know that Lake City will be hosting the Governor’s Fishing Opener on Lake Pepin to be held May 9 through May 11.
Explore Minnesota coordinates each year with the Governor’s Office, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, and the host committee to put on the event celebrating Minnesota’s rich tourism and fishing opportunities. This is an opportunity for Lake City to highlight all Lake City has to offer.
