Wabasha County Hwy. 2 closes near Lake City

Wabasha County Hwy. 2 between Wabasha County Hwy. 17 and Hwy. 63 near Lake City was planned to be closed to through traffic beginning Wednesday, March 20. County Hwy. 2 will be closed to through traffic until approximately September 2024.

Intersecting roads will remain open to traffic as construction allows. A detour for through traffic will be posted on Hwy. 63 and County Hwy. 17 during the road closure. When construction is completed in 2024, County Hwy. 2 will remain a gravel surface until paved in 2025.
