Smith qualifies for national collegiate bowling tourney
Sam Smith, former Lake City Tiger bowler, currently bowls for the Lindenwood Lions College in Missouri.
She bowled ISC Section tournament in Fort Worth, Texas in March with the hopes to qualify for Nationals.
Smith finished 5th out of around 150 bowlers and averaged 218 in her six games of qualifying.
Finishing in the top 5 earned her a trip to the National Finals in April.
There were around 650 bowlers all together that tried qualifying from four different Sectionals throughout the United States.
