Tennis courts named in honor of longtime coach Henry Dison

The tennis courts at Lincoln High School are now known as the “Henry Dison Tennis Courts.”

The 91-year-old Dison, a long-time teacher and tennis coach in Lake City, was present Wednesday, July 10, for a ceremony dedicating the courts and unveiling a sign with the new name.

Among the well-wishers on hand were over 20 players Dison had coached over the years.

Kimberly Morris (formerly Rick), spoke on their behalf at the ceremony.
