Florence Township History Fair is April 23

The Friends of Florence Town Hall will host a Florence Township History Fair on Saturday, April 23, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the town hall, 33915 Hwy. 61, Frontenac.

The afternoon will feature refreshments and door prizes. There is no entry fee, and everyone is welcome to attend.

At 2 p.m., James Clinton of the Goodhue County Historical Society will present “Central Point: Florence Township’s Ghost Town.”

Donna Halvorson will introduce her latest book, “The River Never Sleeps: Legends and Legacies of Frontenac Point.”
