Notice to Zumbro Township Residents: There will be a public meeting held on Monday September 30th at Hammond City Hall at 7 p.m. for the following: The Board of Supervisors, to account for the increased cost of borrowing, proposes that the following sentence in Art. VII, Sec. 1(a) of Ordinance 11320 be amended as follows: “Users who are owners of a property connected to the System have the option to elect to have the Debt Service Charge placed as a line-item on their taxes for up to 20 years at 3% interest, if written notice of the election is provided to the Town Clerk in accordance with the deadline noted above.” Please contact Marcy Dworschak, Zumbro Township Clerk with any questions. zumbrotwpclerk@gmail.com or 507-753-2625.

CHESTER TOWNSHIP, WABASHA COUNTY, MINNESOTA. CHESTER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Chester Township Planning Commission will hold a special meeting on October 3rd, 2024 at 7 p.m. at the Mazeppa Community Center, 278 1st Ave. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct a public hearing, discuss, and possibly act on a recommendation to the Town Board regarding a variance requested by David and Janel Liffrig to place a new shed 25 feet from the property line on their property located at 39701 County Road 3, Lake City. The owners are requesting a 50-foot variance from the Town’s 75 foot setback requirement. Those interested in this matter are welcome to attend the meeting. Jake Atkinson, Clerk.
