Alvarez earns achievement medal aboard U.S.S. Chosin

The U.S. Navy has awarded a Lake City native with its Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
Brayden Alvarez, E5, serves aboard the U.S.S. Chosin as an electronic techician, navigation tech.
The award is for “professional achievement in the superior performance of his duties” from October 2022 to September 2023.
