Wabasha County approves cannabis regulations

Wabasha County Commissioners on Nov. 5 approved an ordinance regulating cannabis-related businesses within the county.

The ordinance implements the provisions of Minnesota statutes, authorizing the county to protect the public health, safety, and welfare of Wabasha County residents by regulating cannabis businesses within the county’s legal boundaries, according to information in the County Board’s meeting packet.
