‘Waves of Hope’ suicide prevention awareness event set for Jan. 27

The Lake City Suicide Prevention Coalition is planning a free Jan. 27 event at Lincoln High School called “Waves of Hope: Raising Community Awareness for Suicide Prevention.”

Activites begin at 5:45 p.m. with a free supper and mental wellness resources fair.

At 6:30 p.m. there will be a screening of the “My Ascension,” which the poster calls “a powerful film about hope and resilience.”
