Over 100 people attend Lions’ moonlight hike at Hok-Si-La Park

The lack of snow again this year didn’t stop the enthusiasm of walkers at the annual Lake City Lions Club Moonlight Ski/Snow Shoe/Walk event at Hok-Si-La Park last Saturday, the club said in a news release.

But the strong and cold winds caused a number of people to stay home. Last year, over 200 attended. This year, a little over 100 participated.

Many of the walkers followed the suggestion of wearing glowing apparel of carrying glo-sticks.
