SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met for an organizational session on January 10, 2025, at 7:00 a.m. in the District Board Room. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.lake-city.k12.mn.us. 7 board members and 3 community members were present.
1. Oath of Office by new board members.
2. Adopt agenda (mcu).
3. MSBA Annual Leadership Conference January 16-17, 2025.
4. Elected Officers: Chair - Larson, Clerk - Schumacher, Treasurer - Siewert (mcu).
5. Set Stipends for School Board (mcu).
6. Set Date, Time, and Location for 2025 Board Meetings (mcu).
7. Set Committee Assignments (mcu).
8. Set the Lake City Graphic as the official newspaper (mcu).
9. Set bulletin board at High School as the official posting place (mcu).
10. Set Ratwik as legal counsel (mcu).
11. Set mileage reimbursement rate (mcu).
12. Set meal reimbursement rate (mcu).
13. Set Depositories (mcu).
14. Supt. Wright gave her report.
15. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:34 a.m. (mcu).
