Township Notices - February 13, 2025

NOTICE: The time of the next Florence Town Board meeting has been changed to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, because no quorum was available for the previously planned Feb. 18 meeting. As always, the meeting will take place at the Town Hall in Frontenac Station. -- Pamela Miller, town clerk.

NOTICE OF FLORENCE TOWNSHIP ELECTION AND ANNUAL MEETING - An election for two spots on the Florence Town Board will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the Town Hall in Frontenac Station. Candidates who filed and will be on the ballot are Thomas Gnotke for township treasurer and Nathan Oppedahl for a supervisor’s position. When polls close at 8 p.m., the township’s annual meeting will be held. Absentee ballots will be mailed out soon, and town clerk Pam Miller will be at the Town Hall  from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 8, and from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday, March 10, to receive any absentee ballots delivered by hand. -- Pamela Miller, Florence Township clerk.

CHESTER TOWNSHIP DOUBLE MEETING NOTICE-  The annual audit of the 2024 financial records for Chester Township will be held Wednesday, February 26th, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at the Mazeppa Community Center.  The Chester Township regular monthly board meeting will follow the Board of Audit meeting.  NOTE THE DATE AND TIME CHANGE, Jake Atkinson, Clerk.
