CHESTER TOWNSHIP ELECTION OF OFFICERS NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING BOARD OF CANVASS MEETING - Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Chester Township, County of Wabasha, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers, Annual Town Meeting, and Board of Canvass Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025. In case of inclement weather, the meetings and election may be postponed until Tuesday, March 18th, 2025. The Election Poll hours will be open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at which time the voters will elect: One Supervisor (3 year term), One Treasurer (2 year term). The Board of Canvass will meet at 8:05 p.m. and the Annual Meeting will commence after the Board of Canvass meeting adjourns, approximately 8:15 p.m., to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law. THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN of LAKE in the County of Wabasha and State of Minnesota who are qualified to vote at the General Elections are hereby notified that the Annual Town Meeting and Election will be held at the Lake Township Hall, 30271 690th Street, Lake City, MN on Tuesday, the 11th day of March, 2025. The polls will be open between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. for the following purpose: to elect one Supervisor – Seat #3 for a term of 3 years, one Treasurer for a term of 2 years. The Board of Canvass will follow at 8:00 p.m. on March 11, 2025 to certify the official election results. The business meeting will meet immediately following the Board of Canvass to do any and all business proper to be done at said meeting when convened. Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Belvidere Township, Goodhue County, that the annual meeting of 2025 will be held March 11, 2025; 1:00 p.m., at the Belvidere Town Hall. The budget will be set and any other business proper when said meeting is convened. Elections will be held for (1) Supervisor, three (3) year term and (1) Treasurer, two (2) year term. Polls will open after the meeting adjourned, approximately 2:30 p.m., closing at 8:00 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and elections will be held one week later, March 18, 2025. NOTICE OF FLORENCE TOWNSHIP ELECTION AND ANNUAL MEETING - An election for two spots on the Florence Town Board will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the Town Hall in Frontenac Station. Candidates who filed and will be on the ballot are Thomas Gnotke for township treasurer and Nathan Oppedahl for a supervisor’s position. When polls close at 8 p.m., the township’s annual meeting will be held. Absentee ballots will be mailed out soon, and town clerk Pam Miller will be at the Town Hall from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 8, and from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday, March 10, to receive any absentee ballots delivered by hand. -- Pamela Miller, Florence Township clerk.
