REGULAR MEETING
SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met in regular session on January 28, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Media Center. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.lake-city.k12.mn.us. 7 board members and 14 community members were present.
1. Adopt agenda (mcu).
2. Board Member Minute given by each board member.
3. Christa Zirbes from CESO gave the Pay Equity Report.
4. Dir. Kvasnicka gave a presentation regarding Community Ed Fee Proposal.
5. Principal Berge gave the High School report in written form.  
6. Principal Aeschlimann gave the Bluff View report.
7. Dir. Kvasnicka gave the Comm Ed report.
8. Supt. Wright gave her report.
9. Board members gave reports on recent committee meetings.
10. No school February 17, 2025 for President’s Day.
11. February 24, 2025 - next regular Board meeting at 7:00 p.m.
12. Approved policy 714 (mcu).
13. Motion made to bring Community Ed Fee Changes to the Finance Committee and postpone to February board meeting (mc - 6-1).
14. Approved Lake City Language Access Plan (mcu).
15. Approved the resolution for donations (mcu).
16. Approved the resolution Directing Administration to Make Recommendations for Reductions in Programs and Positions for 2025-2026 if Needed (mcu).
17. Approved the District’s Pay Equity Report Ending 12/31/2024 (mcu).
18. Approved consent agenda (mcu).
19. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:43 p.m. (mcu).
