REGULAR MEETING
SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met in regular session on March 17, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Media Center. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.lake-city.k12.mn.us. 7 board members and 23 community members were present.
1. Adopt agenda (mcu).
2. Board Member Minute given by each board member.
3. State participants were recognized in Nordic Ski, Wrestling, and BPA.
4. Korissa Atkinson gave a presentation on Counseling & Social Work at Bluff View.
5. Kris Fuglestad gave a presentation on Social Work at Lincoln High School.
6. Principal Berge gave the High School report.  
7. Principal Aeschlimann gave the Bluff View report.
8. Dir. Kvasnicka gave the Comm Ed report.
9. Supt. Wright gave her report.
10. Board members gave reports on recent committee meetings.
11. No School on March 24, 2025; March 31-April 4, 2025; and April 18, 2025.
12. April 21, 2025 - next regular Board meeting at 7:00 p.m.
13. Approved consent agenda (mcu).
14. A motion was made to approve Policy 503 and remove policy 524 and send it back to the Policy Committee (Motion did not pass - 2-5).
Approved Policy 503 and 524 as presented (mcu - 6-1).
15. Approved the district office staff to purchase the scoreboards as presented, overriding previous board actions requiring all sponsorship agreements be in place before ordering (mcu).
16. First Reading of policies 102, 203, 213, 416, 416 Forms, 509, and 512.
17. Approved the resolution for donations (mcu).
18. Approved revised budget for the fiscal year 2024-2025 (mcu).
19. Approved the 2024-25 District Fundraisers (mcu).
20. Approved the Award Letter for the Solar for Schools Project (mcu).
21. Approved the Award Letter for the Bid for the Building Envelope & Solar Prep Project (mcu).
22. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:29 p.m. (mcu).
