SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met in regular session on April 21, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Media Center. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.lake-city.k12.mn.us. 7 board members and 13 community members were present.
1. Adopt agenda (mcu).
2. Board Member Minute given by each board member.
3. Amy Heise gave a presentation on Instructional Coaching at Bluff View.
4. Principal Berge gave the High School report.  
5. Principal Aeschlimann gave the Bluff View report.
6. Dir. Kvasnicka gave the Comm Ed report.
7. Supt. Wright gave her report.
8. Board members gave reports on recent committee meetings.
9. Community Business Appreciation Breakfast - Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 6:45 a.m. in Bluff View Cafeteria.
10. Awards Night - Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. in Lincoln High School Auditorium.
11. May 19, 2025 - next regular Board meeting at 7:00 p.m.
12. Board Work Session - Date May TBD.
13. Commencement - Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
14. Approved consent agenda (mcu).
15. Approved Policies: 102, 203, 416, 416 Form, 509, and 512 (mcu).
16. First Reading of policies 506, 515, 516, and 522.
17. Approved the Insertion of Articles II, III, and IV of Policy 213 into Policy 203 and rescind the remainder of policy 213 (mcu).
18. Approved the resolution for donations (mcu).
19. Approved the Forward Bank Loan for the Scoreboard Project (mcu).
20. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:01 p.m. (mcu).
