NOTICE OF PUBLIC
HEARING ON PROPOSED SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
Notice is hereby given that the City Council for the City of Lake City, Wabasha County, Minnesota will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 8, 2025 at City Hall, 205 W. Center St., Lake City, MN to consider, and possibly adopt, the proposed assessment for Block 15 Alley Improvements. The proposed assessment is for properties abutting along Block 15 Alley. The proposed assessment is on file for public inspection at the city clerk’s office. The total amount of the project is $114,673.93.
Adoption by the council of the proposed assessment against abutting property will occur at the hearing. Written and oral objections will be considered.  No appeal may be taken as to the amount of any assessment unless a signed, written objection is filed with the clerk prior to the hearing or presented at the hearing. That an appeal to district court may be made by serving notice upon the mayor or clerk of the city within 30 days after adoption of the assessment and filing such notice with the district court within ten days after service upon the mayor or clerk.
