A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF
ORDINANCE NO. 646
BY TITLE AND SUMMARY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake City has adopted Ordinance No. 646, titled “An Ordinance Extending the Corporate Limits of the City of Lake City Pursuant To Minnesota Statutes, Section 414.033, Subd. 2(3)” and
WHEREAS, the City Charter allows publication by title and summary in the case of lengthy ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the Ordinance is four pages in length; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes that the following summary will clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY the City of Lake City City Council, that the following summary is hereby approved for publication:
SUMMARY PUBLICATION
ORDINANCE NO. 646
The City of Lake City City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 646, titled “An Ordinance Extending the Corporate Limits of the City of Lake City Pursuant To Minnesota Statutes, Section 414.033, Subd. 2(3)” The ordinance annexes approximately 1.03 acres of real property, identified as Goodhue County PID 322000090, from the Township of Florence into the City of Lake City corporate limits with the established zoning district Medium Density Residential. Annexation will be final following an order duly issued by a State of Minnesota Administrative Law Judge through the Municipal Boundary Adjustment Unit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lake City, City Council:
1. The City Clerk is directed to publish this summary in lieu of publication of the entire ordinance.
2. The City Clerk is directed to post a copy of the entire text of Ordinance No. 646 at City Hall, the City of Lake City Public Library, and on the City of Lake City web site for a period of not less than 10 days. In addition, a printed copy of Ordinance No. 646 is available for inspection by any person during regular office hours at the Lake City City
