Council, administrator agree to separation

City Administrator Alan Lanning is leaving his position at the end of this week after serving one year.
The city administrator and the City Council agreed to a separation effective Friday after a two-session annual performance review.
The council continued Lanning’s performance appraisal at a special closed 5 p.m. meeting Monday. The annual appraisal had started June 29.
