Tiger boys edge ninth-ranked Maranatha Christian Academy

Gavyn Lorenson exploded for 32 points and Luke Narum poured in a career-high 25, 17 of which came after halftime as the Lake City Tiger boys basketball team edged ninth-ranked Maranatha Christian Academy 78-76 at Lincoln High School Saturday afternoon.

The Tigers recovered from a slow start as the Mustangs raced out to a 6-1 lead just 93 seconds into the game. An 11-3 run by Lake City help shift the momentum early as Narum scored five points including the first of four three-point field goals in this stretch.
