Attn. Gillford Township: At the annual March 10, 2026 meeting, clerk (2 year term) and chairperson (3 year term) positions will be up for election. NOTICE TO FLORENCE TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS: An election for two township board seats – one for a supervisor for a three-year term, one for the clerk for a two-year term -– will be held at the Florence Town Hall from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, which is also the evening of our township’s annual meeting. The candidate filing period runs from Dec. 31, 2025, to Jan. 13, 2026. Town clerk Pam Miller will be at the Town Hall from noon to 5 p.m. on Jan. 13 to accept filings, or can do so by appointment at 612-518-6526 anytime during the filing period.
