Girls beat Pine Island 47-27
The Lake City Tigers girls basketball team earned a hard-fought 47–27 victory over Pine Island on Monday, Dec. 8, grinding out a win in a defensive battle from start to finish.
The Tigers set the tone early with active hands and disciplined team defense, holding Pine Island well below its scoring average and forcing turnovers that limited clean looks at the basket. Lake City’s defensive pressure fueled a steady offensive rhythm, allowing the Tigers to build and maintain control throughout the game.
