REGULAR MEETING
SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met in regular session on November 17, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Media Center. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.lake-city.k12.mn.us. 7 board members and 16 community members were present.
1. Adopt agenda (mcu).
2. Each board member gave a board-member minute.
3. Presentation of certificates to State Participants for Girls Tennis and Girls Cross Country.
4. Presentation of certificates to FFA members for National Convention awards.
5. Presentation regarding the Girls Wrestling program by Trevor Narum & Doug Vaith.
6. Presentation of Comprehensive Achievement and Civic Readiness Report and Goals by Ariana Wright, Amanda Kvasnicka, Eric Aeschlimann, and Greg Berge.
7. Principal Berge gave the High School report.  
8. Principal Aeschlimann gave the Elementary report.
9. Dir. Kvasnicka gave the Comm Ed report.
10. Supt. Wright gave her report and enrollment update.
11. Board members gave reports on recent committee meetings.
12. No School November 27 & 28, 2025 for Thanksgiving Break.
13. December 15, 2025 - next regular Board meeting at 7:00 p.m.
14. Truth in Taxation meeting December 15, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
15. Approved consent agenda (mcu).
16. Approved the following policies: 707 and 905 (mcu).
17. Approved the Final 2025-2026 Teachers Seniority List (mcu).
18. First reading of 2025-2026 Paraprofessional Seniority List-Draft.
19. First Reading of policies: 306, 606, 712, and 722.
20. Approved the Organizational Meeting for January 5, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the District Board Room.
21. Approved the Minnesota Department of Education Comprehensive Achievement and Civic Readiness Annual Summary Report (mcu).
22. Approved the 2025-2026 Comprehensive Achievement and Civic Readiness Goals (mcu).
23. Approved the resolution for donations & gifts (mcu).
24. Approved the Memorandum of Understanding (mcu).  
25. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:04 p.m. (mcu).
