A new owner and name for Ford dealership in Lake City

The long-time Ford dealership in Lake City has a new owner and a new name.

Daraius Mistry purchased the dealership from Mosaic Auto Group. It’s now Lake City Ford, a name that Mistry said he’s proud of and that reflects his philosophy.

“I represent community values, honesty, integrity. I’ve always operated that way, professionally and personally. I believe that treating people right is key to a successful career and life.”

Mistry began his career selling cars in Texas about two decades ago. Since then his career has taken him to Florida, Mississippi, Texas, Hawaii, and now Lake City.

He said his wife is excited to live in a place with seasons.
