SUMMARY OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The School Board of ISD #813 met in regular session on January 5, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the District Board Room. Complete minutes are on file in the Superintendent’s Office, 300 S. Garden St., Lake City, MN 55041 or at www.lake-city.k12.mn.us. 7 board members and 2 community members were present.
1. Adopt agenda (mcu).
2. MSBA Annual Leadership Conference January 15-16, 2026.
3. Elected Officers: Chair - Larson, Clerk - Schumacher, Treasurer - Siewert (mcu).
4. Set Stipends for School Board (mcu).
5. Set Date, Time, and Location for 2026 Board Meetings (mcu).
6. Tabled Committee Assignments to January 20, 2026, Regular Board Meeting (mcu).
7. Set the Lake City Graphic as the official newspaper (mcu).
8. Set bulletin board at High School near the concession stand door as the official posting place (mcu).
9. Set Ratwik as legal counsel (mcu).
10. Set mileage reimbursement rate (mcu).
11. Set meal reimbursement rate (mcu).
12. Set Depositories (mcu).
13. Supt. Wright gave her report.
14. A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 7:55 pm (mcu).
