Junior varsity boys wrestle for a cause
The Tiger junior varsity (JV) boys wrestlers had an opportunity to participate in an event to raise proceeds for Down Syndrome Awareness on Monday, Jan. 26.
The event was hosted by Plainview-Elgin Millville and also included the JV wrestlers from Dover Eyota, Goodhue, Wabasha-Kellogg and Rochester Mayo.
While the event raised money for a great cause, it also allowed the wrestlers to get valuable mat time. The team sent 15 wrestlers and would go 13-24 on the night.
