Response to Margo Yotter: “Let’s choose the humanity of compassion.” To quote Margo Yotter’s editorial after visiting Renee Good’s Memorial: “My takeaways were silence, reverence, and togetherness.” Within this stillness and silence, I am brought to my knees by the humility of not knowing — the vastness of what is unnamable, uncontainable, inconceivable.
