Tenth-ranked Zumbrota-Mazeppa edged Lake City 65-60 last Tuesday night in a tightly contested game that featured eight lead changes and seven ties.
Lake City got off to a great start, making its first four field goal attempts to take an early 11-5 lead after five minutes of play. The Cougars responded with a 13-2 run over the next 2:44 to take the lead for the first time.
