THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN of LAKE in the County of Wabasha and State of Minnesota who are qualified to vote at the General Elections are hereby notified that the Annual Town Meeting and Election will be held at the Lake Township Hall, 30271 690th Street, Lake City, MN on Tuesday, the 10th day of March, 2026. The polls will be open between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. for the following purpose: to elect one Supervisor – Seat #1 for a term of 3 years, one Clerk for a term of 2 years. The Board of Canvass will follow at 8:00 p.m. on March 10, 2026 to certify the official election results. The business meeting will meet immediately following the Board of Canvass to do any and all business proper to be done at said meeting when convened. CHESTER TOWNSHIP ELECTION OF OFFICERS NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING BOARD OF CANVASS MEETING: Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Chester Township, County of Wabasha, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers, Annual Town Meeting, and Board of Canvass Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026. In case of inclement weather, the meetings and election may be postponed until Tuesday, March 17th, 2026. The Election Poll hours will be open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at which time the voters will elect: One Supervisor (3 year term); One Clerk (2 year term). The Board of Canvass will meet at 8:05 p.m. and the Annual Meeting will commence after the Board of Canvass meeting adjourns, approximately 8:15 p.m., to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law. Mount Pleasant Township:Notice of Annual Meeting and Election of Officers: Notice is hereby given to qualified voters of Mount Pleasant Township, County of Wabasha, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Officers and Annual Township meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at the Mount Pleasant Town Hall located at 35010 County Road 15. In case of inclement weather the meeting and election will be postponed until the third Tuesday in March. The Election Poll hours will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at which time voters will elect (1) Supervisor for a 3 year term and a Clerk for a 2 year term. This will be followed by the Board of Canvass at 8 p.m. to certify the official election results. The Annual Meeting will commence at 8:10 p.m. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law. PEPIN TOWNSHIP ANNUAL MEETING/ELECTION OF TOWNSHIP OFFICIALS: Notice is hereby given for Pepin Township, Wabasha County, 2026 annual meeting and election of township officials, Tuesday, March 10, 2026., Josh and Holly Olson residence, 69083 255th Ave., Wabasha, MN 55981. Voting polls will be open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Annual meeting starting at 8 p.m. Voting for supervisor three (3) year term and voting for clerk two (2) year term. Annual township meeting will take place right after the voting ends at 8 p.m. Canvass meeting to follow annual township meeting. Notice is hereby given to all qualified voters of West Albany Township that the annual election of officers and the Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at the Theilman Opera House, Theilman, MN. Polls will be open 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at which time the voters will elect one Supervisor for a three-year term and the Clerk for a two-year term. The Board of Canvass will meet following the annual meeting to certify the election results. The annual meeting will start at 8:00 p.m. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law. Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Belvidere Township, Goodhue County, that the annual meeting of 2026 will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2025; 3:00 p.m., at the Belvidere Town Hall. The budget will be set and any other business proper when said meeting is convened. Elections will be held for (1) Supervisor, three (3) year term and (1) Clerk, two (2) year term. Polls will open after the meeting adjourned, approximately 4:30 p.m., closing at 8:00 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and elections will be held one week later, March 17, 2026. NOTICE lS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Appeal and Equalization for West Albany Township will be open from April 6, 2026 to May 29, 2026 — Contact the Assessor’s Office for an Appointment Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. — Phone: 651-565-3669 or Email: LBAE@co.wabasha.mn.us. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made. If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you are still not satisfied with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board shall review the valuation, classification, or both if necessary, and shall correct it as needed. Generally, an appearance before your local board of appeal and equalization is required bylaw before an appeal can be taken to the county board of appeal and equalization.
