Township Notices - April 14-16, 2026

The Chester Township Board of Supervisors will hold its regular monthly meetings at 7:00 p.m. on the last Monday of every month at the Mazeppa Community Center. These are the regular scheduled meetings unless otherwise posted and/or advertised. Jake Atkinson, Clerk.

The Chester Township Board of Supervisors will receive quotes for road work until 7:00 p.m. on April 27, 2026 for snow plowing, road blading, Class 5 road surface rock to be truck spread by July 15, 2026, rock for icy roads truck spread, and ditch mowing.  All quotes for each job must be separate and include a certificate of insurance.  Chester Township has approximately 28 miles of road.  The town board reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all quotes. Quotes will be reviewed at the Chester Township Board of Supervisors meeting on April 27, 2026 during the 7:00 p.m. meeting at the Mazeppa Community Center.  Jake Atkinson, Clerk.

NOTICE: The Florence Town Board will hold its annual township road tour on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Township residents are free to join the tour, which will leave the Whistle Stop in Frontenac Station at 8 a.m. -- Pamela Miller, town clerk.
