Environmental Learning Program director speaks to Kiwanis Club

Lake City Environmental Learning Program (ELP) Program Director, Marie Miller, was the guest speaker at a recent Lake City Kiwanis Club meeting. Miller tested the club members’ knowledge about Hok-Si-La Park with a crossword puzzle as part of her presentation.

Established in 1995, the Lake City ELP connects area kids with nature. Through a partnership with Hok-si-la Park, almost all the classes meet at the park and many of them use the park as the location for their discovery.
