A special homecoming for Lake City’s first All-State athlete

In the 1940s, Howard Juliot did the unprecendented: the Lake City High School football team guard, with a reported height of 5’10” and a reported weight of just 165, was named an All-State athlete in the sport.
No Lake City athlete had received the honor up to that point. It’s still fairly rare.
