Letter: Hotel would be a boon

To the editor:
Assuming that a “yes” vote on City Question No. 1, vacation and conveyance of a portion of South Washington Street, would result in a hotel on the corner of Marion Street and Lakeshore Drive, should be all that it would take to see the benefits to the city of Lake City and its business community. (Think increased tax base and people to stop and stay and shop and eat in the downtown.)
