Free exercise class open to arthritis sufferers of all ages

A free, low-impact exercise class for arthritis sufferers is held Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the dining room at Lake Pepin Plaza in Lake City.

Its open to anyone with arthritis, regardless of age, instructor Nancy Meyers said.

Developed by the Arthritis Foundation, the program is designed to reduce pain and decrease stiffness through “gentle range-of-motion exercises that are suitable for every fitness level,” according to a news release.
