Torch: Effects of parent involvement

When schools, families, and community groups work together to support learning, children tend to do better in school, stay in school longer, and enjoy school more. Parent involvement plays a major role on a student’s success in school. Not only is the student benefited from the support from parents; but parents, teachers, and educators also benefit in the end. There are many beneficial effects that come from the outcome of parent involvement.
