Tiger boys end exceptional season with loss to NRHEG

The riveting journey of the 2016-17 Lake City boys basketball season reached its conclusion Friday afternoon at Concordia University in Saint Paul as the Tigers tangled with New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (NRHEG) in the class AA consolation championship game.
The Panthers were a one-man wrecking crew as senior Oakley Baker poured in 40 points to surpass the 2,000 point plateau for his career to lead the Panthers to a 77-66 victory.
