Baseball Tigers fall to Cobras 5-2
The Lake City baseball team lost 5-2 to Triton Tuesday as errors and lack of timely hitting were the culprits that kept the Tigers out of the win column. The game was originally scheduled for Monday at Triton, but rain and field conditions moved the game to Bill Kieffer Field the following day. Triton was still the home team.
After Lake City stranded two runners in the top of the first, Triton put together two hits, a wild pitch, a passed ball and an error in the bottom of the first to take a 2-0 lead.
