Tiger baseball has rough week with 3 losses
The Lake City High School Tigers baseball team found the going a little rough again last week as two Hiawatha Valley League teams won three games over the Tigers.
Last Thursday four Lake City errors led to five unearned runs as Pine Island defeated the Tigers 8-2. On Saturday the Tigers played better, but lost a doubleheader to Rochester Lourdes, 7-3 and 2-1. Tuesday’s date with Kenyon-Wanamingo at Wanamingo was washed out by rain, and is rescheduled for Friday at 4:30 p.m. in Wanamingo.
