Tiger baseball takes down Gold Division leader Cannon Falls

The Lake City Tiger baseball team split a pair of games with two of the best teams in the Hiawatha Valley League last week, then they started this week with another washout as Monday’s game at Hayfield was postponed and moved to Wednesday at Lake City’s Bill Kieffer Field. That means three consecutive home games for the Tigers Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, another testimonial to the weather resistance of the Tigers’ home field.
