Students build computer lab

With computers in its computer aided drafting and design (CADD) lab on the verge of obsolescence, and replacement costs for 30 pre-built machines projected to be an unaffordable $60,000, Lincoln High School had to get creative.

They decided to do it themselves, saving about $25,000 and giving students in the district’s computer science courses the opportunity to build a machine.
