Letter: Flags of Valor is yet another example of an exceptional community
To the Editor:
Hey Lake City, I’ve been meaning to write since I moved here last fall, but what I saw here June 20 blew me away and I had to write.
I rounded the corner of N. Lakeshore Drive and N. Park Street and was overwhelmed by the beauty of flags up and down the lakeshore as far as the eye could see!
Since living here, I’d already been won over by friendly people in stores and along sidewalks. And I’ve told friends, relatives, and complete strangers about the way you keep up your homes, your yards and your ample parks.
