Rotary hosts Circle of Life races

The weather over Water Ski Days this year was good for a lot of things, and foot races were no exception.
Ron Hooge of the Lake City Rotary Club, which organizes the annual Circle of Life 5K, 10K, half marathon, and fun run on the Saturday of Water Ski Days, said it was cool and comfortable as runners set out on the course and began to warm up as the morning went on.
“It was a great event,” he said. “We had people from all over.”
