Tiger boys compete in Pacesetter Sweet 16

The Lake City boys basketball team won two of four games in the Pacesetter Sweet 16 Championships on Aug. 4-5 at College of St. Benedict.
The Tigers lost to Princeton 68-51 in the first round. In consolation play, they beat New Ulm Cathedral 86-77 and Willmar 63-57. In the consolation finals, they lost to Waseca 68-49.
Members of the Lake City team included Jackson Berge, Riley Borgschatz, Reid Gastner, Andrew Green, Atticus Heise, Nathan Heise, Ethan Heitman, Josh Matanich, Brady Schurhammer,  Mason White, Jake Wohlers and Justin Wohlers.
